Our Philosophy

Mile 27 was founded by Andy DuBois to provide the most complete service for runners and particularly ultrarunners on the market today.

Ultrarunning is a sport that has a huge number of variables that need to be controlled in both training and racing to maximise performance and minimise injury. Not only are there a wide variety of training sessions that make up an ultra runners training program , we also have to consider the nutritional and mental strategies needed in both training and racing to compete at your best. On top of this injury prevention is critical to allow you to reach your potential.

At Mile 27 we believe that its only through getting to really know and understand our clients ,goals and motivations behind those goals , their training history and training environment and their strengths and weaknesses both physically and mentally can we deliver a truly customised training plan. A plan that addresses every aspect of training in order for our clients to achieve the goals they have set themselves.

At Mile 27 you become part of a team of athletes from around the globe both elite and back of the pack that has a desire to get the most out of your running.

We strive to be at the forefront of the science of ultra running and the technology available but not lose sight that its what goes on between the ears that can determine the outcome of a race.
